Musile Records CEO Ricardo Carreras Honored as Executive Producer of the Year
SÃO PAULO, Brazil — Music industry executive Ricardo Carreras, CEO of Musile Records, has been recognized as the 2026 Executive Producer of the Year during the inaugural Gospel Professional of the Year Awards, held Monday at Teatro Bradesco in São Paulo.
Created by artistic director, singer, and pastor Samuel Modesto, the awards celebrate individuals and organizations making a significant impact on Christian music and ministry. Guided by the theme, "Honoring Those Who Make It Happen: Faith, Excellence, and Purpose," the event brought together artists, ministries, media professionals, companies, and leaders from across Brazil's gospel community.
With more than 30 years of experience in the music industry, Carreras has played a key role in developing music and audiovisual projects. As an executive producer, he oversees every stage of production—from the initial concept to the final release—helping shape the creative, artistic, and strategic direction of each project.
His journey began in 1994 with the founding of Aliança, a company that became a leading distributor of Christian CDs and DVDs in Brazil. In 2013, the company evolved into Musile Records, adapting to the digital era while expanding its influence in the gospel music industry.
Under Carreras' leadership, Musile Records has grown into one of Brazil's most influential gospel labels, reaching more than 6 million YouTube subscribers, 3.5 billion YouTube views, and over 2 billion audio streams across digital platforms. The label has introduced artists such as Isadora Pompeo, Julia Vitória, and Sarah Beatriz, while also strengthening the careers of Paulo César Baruk, Rachel Novaes, and Bruna Olly.
Reflecting on the honor, Carreras said the award recognizes the dedication of an entire team.
"Receiving this recognition is a great honor. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside talented artists, professionals, and partners who share the same mission of serving with excellence. This achievement also belongs to the entire Musile Records team and to everyone who has been part of this journey. We remain committed to investing in projects that inspire lives and help strengthen Christian music in Brazil."
Today, Musile Records continues to nurture new talent while producing music and content that combines artistic excellence, innovation, and faith. The label's current roster includes Julia Vitória, Bruna Olly, Rachel Novaes, Esther Durán, and Lis Avancini.
